Grab A Glass + Add Ice to make a simple apple and brandy cocktail

Toss a few large ice cubes into your glass and start building the cocktail… If you don’t have large cocktail ice cubes, then fill your mason jar about 3/4 of the way with fresh regular ice cubes.
Splash In Some Brandy to make a simple cocktail

To the ice, add a splash of brandy, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
Add Orange Liqueur

Now splash in some orange liqueur. I used Grand Marnier which is a delicious cognac-based orange liqueur. It gives the cocktail a little bit of body and a super delicious taste.
The orange flavor does not overpower the cocktail at all but instead gives it light notes of citrus that blend in with the lemon and apple flavors…
Give the apple brandy drink a gentle Stir

Grab a bar spoon and stir these 4 ingredients with the ice until combined a chilled through.
Top Off your brandy drink With apple cider + Sparkling Water

Top everything off with apple cider and a splash of sparkling water and give everything one last gentle stir with a bar spoon.
I usually use lemon La Croix or lime flavored La Croix sparkling water to play off the lemon and citrus notes but plain soda water or plain sparkling water is perfectly fine.
Sometimes its fun to play with flavored sparkling waters as they add a bubbly pop of flavor and make everything more refreshing!
Garnish your easy brandy apple cocktail With Fresh apple and herbs

Garnish with fresh thin red apple slices. Even some fresh sprigs of green herbs like rosemary or thyme add a welcome pop of color for presentation.

This apple brandy fizz cocktail is a truly simple blend of ingredients that make up an easy refreshing sparkling cocktail to pour over the holidays as a satisfying winter cocktail, or anytime you crave a simple brandy drink.
The classic brandy highball is a simpler mix of classic brandy and sparkling water. This jazzed up apple cider version with apple and orange liqueur makes for a dressed-up version that you can with just a few simple ingredients.

Substitutions/Suggestions:
- If you don’t have brandy, use apple brandy, apple whiskey, or bourbon. Bourbon would make a delicious highball as well and blends perfectly with apple and citrus!
- If using apple brandy or apple whiskey, (like I did in this Green Grinch Apple Moscow Mule) adjust the sweetness by adding more lemon. If you like it sweeter, taste and adjust by adding more or less simple syrup to desired sweetness.
- For good flavor and taste, use either pressed apple juice or apple cider.

You can easily make this super simple and refreshing apple brandy fizz with ingredients you most likely have on hand!
Feel free to twist it up and change it to fit your tastes!
