I’m so excited to finally feature a drink on the blog that actually reflects the secret rebel in me. Whenever I have a hankerin’ for a fizzy margarita, this festive orange margarita hits the spot!
I was originally inspired by some of my other orange Halloween drinks, including this easy Orange Fizz Halloween Party Drink I made a few years ago, as well as my Hocus Pocus Fizz and my Hocus Pocus mimosas.
Dressed up in all the right tones from head to toe, this bold black and orange tequila Halloween drink delivers easy cocktails for your spooky soirée!
You can easily serve this bad-to-bone Hallo-rita with just 4 simple ingredients.

Here are just a few pointers you can keep in mind to make this bubbly orange pop margarita for the spooky season.
- Use your favorite orange soda pop to get that festive bold orange color, such as Fanta, Jarritos, Sunkist, or Crush.
- Keep purple or black sanding sugars on hand to dress your cocktail cup a bit along with some festive skull cocktail skewers or even these fun halloween cocktail umbrellas! This really adds a fun look to the finished drink.
- I use agave nectar in my margarita. Agave nectar is a more traditional sweetener used to mix in margaritas with fresh lime and tequila. A little goes a long way. It has an earthy sweetness that tastes delicious when mixed with tequila. If not available, simple syrup also works.
- As always, be sure to pour in the bubbly or fizzy ingredients in last to make sure you don’t lose the effervescence that makes fizzy cocktails so refreshing!
- I garnish my festive orange margarita with orange slices, but you can add fresh sliced lime wheels, or a skewered orange twist.
To put these together for all your festive Halloween shindigs, you’ll need just a handful of easy ingredients plus any extras to dress it up.
