Orange POP Hallo-Rita Margarita! Easy Tequila Halloween Drink
A boozy splash of silver tequila marries with black sugars, salt, agave, lime, and orange soda pop to make a bad-to-the bone tequila cocktail just in time for Halloween!
Grab a small plate and add 1 tsp black sanding sugar plus 1 tsp coarse sea salt. Swipe the rim of your rocks glass with a fresh wedge of lime. Now dip rocks glass into the mixture to coat the rim and set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, using a jigger to measure, splash in fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and 2 oz of good quality silver tequila.
Fill the shaker halfway with fresh ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Pour this shaken mixture into a rocks glass, ice and all, and top off with 1 and 1/2 to 2 oz of the orange soda pop to taste.
Top with fresh lime wheels or fresh orange wheels. Serve ice cold, serve immediately.
