Wicked Witch Blackberry Spritz | Easy Halloween Drink with Vodka
Ingredients
- 3 fresh Blackberries - muddled
- ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice - if you like a more dry / less sweet cocktail, squeeze in more as desired
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Raspberry Liqueur - I use Chambord
- 2 oz Vodka - plain or berry flavored, if desired
- 1 oz Cranberry Raspberry Juice
- 1 to 2 oz Prosecco Sparkling Wine - or champagne, DRY / BRUT unsweet variety
- 1 tsp Purple Sanding Sugars - for cocktail rim
- 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt - for cocktail rim
- Gold Edible Glitter - or edible gold dust – optional for effect
Instructions
- Combine purple sanding sugars and coarse sea salt, swipe your rocks glass with a wedge of lime, and dip your glass in the purple sugars mixture to coat. Set aside.In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, toss in 3 large ripe blackberries. Muddle the berries until juicy and crushed.
- With the crushed berries, splash in the fresh lime juice, simple syrup, vodka, and raspberry liqueur. Lastly, splash in the cranberry raspberry cocktail juice. (If not available, use cranberry juice cocktail).
- Add a heaping scoop of ice to the cocktail shaker and cover. Shake vigorously and thoroughly until all ingredients are chilled and combined.
- Strain the Halloween cocktail over fresh ice cubes into your prepared rocks glass.Finish these festive drinks by topping off the Halloween vodka drinks with a splash of ice cold chilled prosecco or dry brut (unsweet) champagne.
