A 4-Ingredient Christmas Rum Drink for a crowd

The ease and simplicity really makes this the perfect Christmas cocktail to mix up and serve for a holiday shindig in a flash!
Combine a handful of simple ingredients Plus the Rum to Make Homemade Piña colada mix
To make these fun Christmas party coladas, I use Dole 100% pure pineapple juice, white rum, a splash of Malibu Caribbean coconut rum, Coco Real, and a few heaping cups of ice.

If you haven’t used Coco Real before, it’s basically a squeezeable cream of coconut syrup that comes bottled.

The Coco Real cream of coconut syrup comes already sweetened, so you simply add it to the blender with the pineapple, ice, and rum for an authentic punch of coconut flavor. Additionally, it adds a creamy frothy essence to the cocktails that creates that snowy feel we love in a Christmas drink.
Make Frosty Snow Colada Christmas Rum Drinks

To turn this into a blender cocktail simply add about 2 heaping cups of fresh ice to the blender (or more as desired for a thicker texture).

Add in about 1 and 1/4 cup of Dole pure pineapple juice and splash in about 1/3 cup of the Coco Real squeezable cream of coconut.
Add White Rum and Malibu Rum To Christmas CocktaiL mix

Use measuring cups to help with measuring spirits. Here I’ll use 1/3 cup of Malibu coconut-flavored Caribbean rum plus an added 1/2 cup of unflavored classic white rum.
If you feel like the taste of the rum hasn’t come through in the cocktail after blending, delicately work your way up by the ounce using a jigger. Personally, I find in this mix that the flavor of rum comes through readily since it’s a mix of two rums.
As I always say with punches and batch cocktails, be careful not to overdo it when adjusting flavors. You can always pour it in, but you can’t take it back out once it’s done.
Blend the ingredients Together until Smooth and Creamy

You might choose to add more or less ice depending on how thick or slushy you’d like the Christmas piña colada rum cocktails.

To get these fun frosty Christmas piña colada cocktails dressed for this festive season, grab some sanding sugars in red or green.

Grab your cocktail glasses and gently dip them in a little simple syrup or light corn syrup.
Make Colorful Christmas Cocktail Rims

Immediately dip in the colorful sanding sugars. It helps to spread the sugars on a flat plate for dipping the glasses in an even layer.
Once you’ve dipped your glasses in the sugars, place them in the freezer to set.
Do this in advance before making the cocktail. This will give the cocktail glasses a chance to chill all the way through.

When you pull them out of the freezer and pour in the Christmas rum drinks, the cups will glaze over with a nice frosty finish. They’ll keep the delicious cocktail colder for longer. I like to serve them in these simple small stemless wine glasses.

They have a nice clean look that will show off all that snowy cold Christmas piña colada cocktail mix!
Add Little Color To Make Festive Holiday Rum Christmas Coladas

If desired, add 2 or 3 drops of red or green food coloring to the glasses with the cocktail. Stir the cocktail thoroughly with a spoon to create fun frozen Christmas coladas in holiday colors.
You can also add a few drops of the food coloring directly into the blender to make all red or all Grinch green Christmas coladas!
