delicious

If you have a taste for something creamy and naturally sweetened, (but still perfectly healthy and delicious) look no further! This frothy little banana smoothie without yogurt is actually perfect for any time of day. Have it in the morning or blend it up for a quick midday snack.

The sweetness in the smoothie comes mostly from the peanut butter, ripe banana and honey. The peanut butter is naturally high in protein and will add a healthy boost to your day. The vanilla and ground cinnamon give the smoothie delicious warming flavors that go so good with frothy blended milk.

1. Choose Your Milk For Your Smoothie

I used whole milk, (which makes it super rich, creamy and deeee-licious) but you can use your go-to milk: 2%, skim, nut milks, soy milk…. coconut milk would probably be so good! If you use any milks that are already sweetened, don’t add the honey or just start with a smaller amount.

We’ll rely on our favorite milk plus the banana and peanut butter to create a creamy effect in the smoothie without the need for yogurt.

2. Add A Little Honey To Your Banana Smoothie

Add in some honey. Taste it for sweetness and add in small bits. Blend until it tastes just right. Remember that adding in the ice reduces the sweetness as well. Feel free to play with the amounts and get it just right!

3. Blend INgredients To Make A Vanilla Peanut BUtter Banana Smoothie

Combine the milk, peanut butter, banana, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, and ice in the blender and blend on high until ice is crushed and everything is smooth and frothy.

4. Pour Your Creamy Banana Smoothie and ENjoy Anytime of Day

Pour your delicious peanut butter banana smoothie in a tall glass and garnish with crunchy granola bits. Hit it with a dash of cinnamon on top and chug away. Nope, no need for occasions. Any time is a perfect time for this creamy banana goodness!

Toppings can include a sprinkling of crunchy granola as I’ve done here. You could hit it with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon or get super fancy and drop in a little skewer of sliced bananas!
