To create this festively orange easy Halloween cocktail, I used Sparkling Ice Orange Mango soda which gave it a tasty hint of some tropical fruit. The sky is truly the limit on which soda you can use here…

Orange Bubbly SOda Pop Adds Zippy colorful fizz:
- You can easily use Fanta orange soda in our vodka Halloween cocktail, but big bubbly favorites such as Sunkist soda or even Crush orange soda make tasty contenders too!
- Pick up cans of sparkling juicy and sweet San Pellegrino Aranciata or even Blood Orange sodas that are made from fresh citrus! They’ll also taste amazing in this super simple orange Halloween party cocktail.
- Even the favorite and festive Jarritos Mexican sodas in an orange color like Mango or Mandarin would also be fun in this Halloween cocktail too.
HOw To Make a festive halloween cocktail with vodka

- Grab a tall glass and rub the rim with a wedge or slice of orange.
- Dip the rim in a little orange sanding sugar to create a colorful orange cocktail rim. These cool orange, black, and purple sanding sugars work and are convenient, but these are my favorite black sanding sugars and they are the same ones pictured here that I use for my own drinks. The same brand offers orange sanding sugars as well.
- To keep the festive yet elegant feel of the cocktail, I like to serve this fun orange vodka Halloween cocktail in easy-to-handle stemless wine glasses that double as nice rocks glasses for fun party drinks like this.
add orange juice and vodka to the halloween party cocktail

- Fill your glass about 3/4 of the way with fresh ice cubes.
- Use a handheld citrus press to squeeze the fresh juice from an orange. Splash in the fresh-squeezed orange juice plus the vodka.
- Use your favorite brand of vodka for mixing in cocktails.
- Orange-flavored vodka would play nicely here too. Some tasty ones come to mind such as Grey Goose L’Orange or even Svedka Clementine would rock the cocktail out with delicious citrus flavor. You can also see how tasty Svedka vodka works out in these green apple watermelon vodka shots I did over the summer….
- Otherwise, use your favorite good quality plain vodka.
top off the Easy Halloween Party Cocktail with orange soda

- Finish the drink by topping off everything the rest of the way with a splash of colorful orange soda and give it a gentle stir to combine.
- If you like it less sweet, squeeze in wedges of fresh lime to balance out the flavors.
- If you want an added pop of deeper orange flavor, add a drop of natural red food coloring to each cup for more dramatic coloring. This, of course, all depends on the type of soda being used and how pigmented it already is.
A fun spider or two sitting on the rim of the glass adds a pop of EEK!
Alternatively, you can lay a few fresh slices of orange or lime over the top of your Halloween vodka drinks, and poke through with festive Halloween cocktail picks.
The Halloween cocktail picks pictured here are actually Halloween foam stickers that I stuck onto long plain bamboo picks. It creates festive inexpensive diy Halloween drink stirrers, just like I did with these Quick Frosty Snow Colada Christmas drinks!
