Juicy Mango Strawberry Margarita On The Rocks
A mango and fresh strawberry cocktail served on the rocks with splashes of silver tequila, fresh lime, and a smoky chipotle sea salt rim that takes it over the top in this easy mango strawberry margarita you just can't put down!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Smoky Chipotle Seasoning - I used Mesa Rosa Chipotle Seasoning
- 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt
- 1 Fresh Fresh Strawberry
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice - Fesh Squeezed
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 1/2 oz Silver Tequila - Your Favorite Brand
- 4 oz Mango Nectar - I used Langers Organic Mango Nectar
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine your favorite brand of smoky chipotle seasoning (or if you make your own, even better!) with the coarse sea salt. Stir gently until combined and spread out onto a flat plate.
- Rub the rim of your margarita glass with a wedge of lime and dip your glass into the chipotle and sea salt rimming mixture. Now you have a delicious smoky cocktail rim!
- Either in a mixing glass or your margarita glass, muddle the strawberry until completely crushed and juicy. Now splash in lime juice, simple syrup and tequila.
- Fill your glass with ice about half way and splash in the mango nectar. With a spoon, stir everything until combined. Garnish with strawberries and lime wheels and enjoy.
Notes
If you don't want to stir this cocktail you could also build the entire drink in a mixing glass with lid or cocktail shaker, then fill halfway with ice and shake really well until chilled and combined. Pour into your glass and then garnish.
