Easy Whipped Coffee Recipe with Cinnamon and Rum (optional)
A luscious and delicious whipped coffee drink with iced milk and a splash of golden spiced rum turns this iced coffee into a tipsy cinnamon whipped coffee cocktail.
In your bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water by whisking together with a whisk, handheld mixer, or stand mixer with a whisk attachment.
Whisk ingredients together until a thick voluminous coffee-colored foam forms. When it's thick enough to hold together as you scoop it up with a spoon, it's ready, about 2 to 5 minutes later.
Fill your glass of choice with fresh ice and splash in the spiced rum if using. Pour in your favorite milk, nut milk, or plant milk and top it all off with the freshly whipped coffee foam.
Top the foam with ground cinnamon and stir in a cinnamon stick, if available, or serve with a spoon in the glass.
Gently stir in the foamy whipped coffee as you sip to sweeten the milk and infuse it with the coffee flavor from the foam. Serve immediately. Serve chilled.
