Strawberry Sunrise Easy Easter Tequila Cocktail

Serve this easy fresh strawberry cocktail with orange juice as a festive and easy Easter tequila cocktail.  Splashes of champagne, orange juice, and fresh strawberry make this an easy Easter brunch drink to please a crowd.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Orange Juice
  • oz Good Silver Tequila
  • 1 whole Fresh Strawberry - quartered
  • ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Agave Nectar
  • Champagne or Prosecco - using not sweet (dry or brut style champagne/prosecco) for topping off

Instructions
 

  • Add quartered strawberry pieces to the bottom of a rocks glass. Splash in the agave nectar.
  • Muddle fresh strawberry chunks and agave nectar with a muddler until fruit is crushed and a red paste forms.
  • Fill glass the rest of the way with fresh ice and splash in the tequila.
  • Splash in orange juice. Stir everything together with a bar spoon to mix contents. Stir evenly and well until cocktail takes on a pinkish color and all ingredients are combined.
  • Top off with 1 to 2 ounces of the dry/unsweet sparkling wine such as champagne or prosecco and give the cocktail one more gentle stir.
  • Garnish with sliced strawberries or fresh orange slices. Serve Cold.
