4th of July Red White and Blue Drink with Prosecco

Layered red, white, and blue fruit is skewered and set in long champagne flutes then topped off with just two delicious ingredients: elderflower liqueur and ice cold prosecco. It’s the perfect 4th of July cocktail for festive backyard bashes or beachfront barbecues alike.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur - such as St. Germain or St. Elder liqueur
  • 1 bottle Prosecco or Champagne - brut style dry prosecco or champagne - nicely chilled
  • 1 pint Raspberries - fresh
  • 1 pint Bluberries - fresh
  • 1 pint White Honeydew Melon - fresh - cubed

Instructions
 

  • Create red, white, and blue fresh fruit skewers by layering on 2 raspberries first, slipping them to the top. Next, layer on 2 small cubes of white honeydew melon. Lastly, layer on the blueberries.
  • Set the fruit skewer in your champagne flute.
  • Splash a little elderflower liqueur into the bottom of each champagne flute.
  • Top the fruit and liqueur off the rest of the way with ice cold, chilled prosecco and serve cold.
