Fresh Lime and Apple Irish Margarita | Delicious St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail
In this easy and refreshing green margarita recipe, splashes of delicious honeycrisp apple juice, irish whiskey, and silver tequila swirl together to make a festive Irish margarita just in time to celebrate St. Patrick’s day!

- 1 oz Irish Whiskey - such as Jameson
- 1 oz Silver Tequila - good quality
- 1 oz Green Apple Liqueur
- 1 oz Blue Curaçao
- ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
- ½ oz Simple Syrup - or agave nectar
- 2 oz Honeycrisp Apple Juice - I used unfiltered Honeycrisp Apple Juice
Instructions
- Start by dipping your glasses in a mixture of green sanding sugar and coarse sea salt. Rub the rim of the margarita glasses with a lime wedge and dip in the sea salt mixture. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, splash in an ounce of Irish whiskey and also an ounce of your favorite good quality silver tequila.
- Next, splash in an ounce of green apple liqueur and an ounce of blue curaçao.
- Lastly, we’ll go ahead and splash in some freshly squeezed lime juice, a dash of simple syrup, and the Honeycrisp apple juice.
- Fill your cocktail shaker about halfway with fresh ice cubes and put on the lid. Shake vigorously until the tequila, whiskey, liqueurs, lime juice, simple syrup, and apple juice are fully chilled and combined.
- Pour the entire mixture into your salty rimmed margarita glass. Finish by garnishing with fresh lime wheels and festive green paper straws.
